The student Salma Hamidi Abdullah received her PhD from the Department of Computer Sciences / University of Technology for her thesis titled "An Application of Human Eye Gaze in Controlling Mobile Devices" She suggested an application system that can control mobile devices to help users with difficult communication. This system is a non-intrusive input model, the pupil center was selected to calculate the eye movement data to determine the human point of view on the mobile device screen, the action only depends on the front camera to capture the input image. Many algorithms have been used to determine the point at which a human is viewed on a mobile screen. This system uses many stages such as facial detection, eye detection, pupil detection, eye orientation determination, and finally the control of the device used in the system provides an interface for the hands of the hands through the graphical user interface to control the screen of the mobile device Galaxy eye tracking is obtained in the direction of the pupil to The top, bottom, left and right numbers are entered into the user screen by tracking the look. To implement these processes a number of different algorithms were used, such as the detection algorithm for skin areas, the filter cabor, and other mathematical processes to locate the face in the image. And then through the features available in the eye is determined the area of the pupil and then the horizontal and vertical line is scanned depending on the threshold line.
