The student (Sanaa' Ali Jabir) received her master's degree from the Department of Computer Sciences / University of Technology for her thesis (Video analysis to track object in different scenes) In this thesis, traditional surveillance systems have been developed and supported by intelligent technologies that have the ability to perform parallel processing of all cameras to track people in various scenes where the cameras are placed, and to retrieve important information accurately and quickly. The system consists of the following stages:

1. Default phase: Includes database creation and system training.
2. Actual phase: Distinguish detected faces and compare them with the database.
3. Tracking phase: The person detected and tracked is tested in the actual phase to verify It was inside the database or in addition to rebuilding the video for great tracking.

This was on Wednesday, 28/2/2018, and at the discussion hall in the department. The discussion committee was composed of (Dr. Abdul Amir Abdullah Karim and Dr. Rana Farid Ghani) from the University of Technology / Department Computer Sciences, Dr. Diaa' Abdul Hussien Jomaa' from University of Mustansiriya, Department of Computer Science.
